About Me
Hello everyone, I’m Mersey.
I’m a happy, happy girl! I get so excited when the humans come to visit and cuddle me. I also like to play with my other buddies and sometimes it can be a bit rough when we all get into the groove. I have a very special ridgeback – it’s actually two! Everyone says I’m so pretty and a special girl.
What Makes Me Special
I’m a pretty confident pupper with humans I know, but I can be a bit nervous around people I don’t know. But give me a bit of time to learn to trust you and it will be kisses and cuddles all the way.
I’m still working on getting used to cars that make noise on the road, so I might be better off in a place without too much traffic. Funnily enough, although I don’t like seeing and hearing cars on the road, I like travelling in them. That’s weird, isn’t it? One of my favourite things is to go to the beach in the truck at LAW, especially as I always get to sit in the front!
I love to run on the sand and play in the ocean. I’m not even scared of the big waves. The boys and girls at LAW call me a ‘proper little water baby’.
Why am I Here at Lanta Animal Welfare?
I’m one of the 31 dogs that was SO lucky to get rescued away from a shelter on the mainland. We all were so scared, we got caught on the streets and put into a bad place with very little food, shelter and care.
I don’t think I would have survived there long if LAW hadn’t come to rescue me and take me away from there.
I’m so much happier now. But imagine how happy I would be in a proper home…?
